The core service area is Southern and Central New Hampshire. That is where most of the residential and commercial work happens: interior and exterior painting, cabinets, staining, power washing and commercial repainting.
Beyond the core area, JT Paint has project experience in Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine. That means we have worked there before. Whether we take a specific project depends on the project.

How old are the homes in New Hampshire?
According to the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey (2019 to 2023 five-year estimates), the median home in Hillsborough County and in Merrimack County was built in 1977. In other words, half of the homes in those two counties are close to 50 years old or older.
Older homes usually come with more layers of paint, more repairs and more joints to check. That is why preparation is part of every JT Paint job: patching, cleaning, power washing and protecting the property before the first coat, so the new finish has something solid to hold on to.

Core area and beyond
What is the difference between the core area and project experience?
The core area is where we are set up to work regularly. Project experience in Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine means we have done jobs there, not that every project in those states is a fit.
For commercial work, the logic is the same. General contractors and property managers can send a bid invitation for a project outside the core area, and we will say whether it works. See painting for contractors and property managers.
Whatever the location, the way we work does not change. We show up when expected, communicate clearly, protect the property, pay attention to the details and deliver a finished product we are proud to stand behind.
