How we work
How does JT Paint run a painting project?
Our goal is not simply to complete a painting project. We believe in doing the job professionally from beginning to end: showing up when expected, maintaining clear communication, protecting the property, paying attention to details, and delivering a finished product we are proud to stand behind.
Show up when expected
Schedules and commitments are kept. You know when the crew arrives, and the work moves the way we said it would.
Communicate clearly
You know what is happening, what comes next and what it means for your home or business.
Protect the property
Preparation and protection are part of the job, not an afterthought. The space is ready before the first coat goes on.
Finish with pride
Attention to the details, and a finished product we are proud to stand behind.
Why preparation matters here
How old are the homes we paint in New Hampshire?
According to the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey (2019 to 2023 five-year estimates), the median home in Hillsborough County and in Merrimack County was built in 1977. In other words, half of the homes in those two counties are close to 50 years old or older.
Older homes usually come with more layers of paint, more repairs and more joints to check. That is why preparation is part of every JT Paint job: patching, cleaning, power washing and protecting the property before the first coat, so the new finish has something solid to hold on to.

What does JT Paint do?
JT Paint is a residential and commercial painting company based in New Hampshire, founded in 2017. The work covers interior and exterior painting, high-end residential finishes, spray applications, wood and metal coatings, staining and wood finishing, cabinet painting and refinishing, drywall repairs and preparation, power washing, and commercial repainting and renovations.
What areas does JT Paint serve?
We serve residential and commercial clients throughout Southern and Central New Hampshire, and we have project experience across New England, including Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine. If your project is outside the core area, ask: it depends on the project.
Does JT Paint take on commercial projects?
Yes. Commercial repainting and renovations, larger painting projects, spray applications and specialty coating systems are part of what we do. General contractors and property managers can send the scope, location, schedule and bid date through the estimate form.
Why does preparation take so much of the job?
Because the finish only lasts as long as the surface under it. Many New Hampshire homes are decades old, and older surfaces usually need repairs, cleaning and patching before paint. Preparation and protecting the property are part of every job, not an extra.
Do you paint and refinish kitchen cabinets?
Yes. Cabinet painting and refinishing is one of our services, along with staining and wood finishing for other wood surfaces. Tell us about the kitchen or built-in you have in mind and we will go from there.
